My SOTW was an approx 240 yard 3W second shot with my new F11 that landed on the fringe on a very long par 4 that was playing directly into a 2 club wind. I think the 3W went almost as far as the driver off the tee did.
Cranky when I can't get out and play

I'm VERY excited for this season. I've got almost all new gear. It seems I've got some irons I can REALLY hit now.

Tough choice but I think my current SOTW was on the 4th hole at Bonneville a few days ago. This is a long par-4 with trees down the left.

I pull-hooked my drive left of the tree line almost into #3 fairway. Hat 214 to the green into a hard wind and needed to hit a high cut.

I pulled out my new 4-iron and pulled off the shot perfectly, ending up on the front fringe. Nice to be able to hit a long iron again.

My SOTW was on the 6th and 17th hole at Harbor Pines. My drive on the Sixth hole hit a tree and want left, but the ball some how hook back on line to the green and rolled up to about 10 feet giving me a down hill putt. I drained the putt for an eagle. the hole is 392 yrds on the scorecard, but skycaddie read 310.

On the 17th hole, I drove the ball to the right ruff and in to the tree line. I had about 165 years to the center of the green and 180 years to the back. I hit an eight iron over a tree only 10 yrds n front of me and landed the ball 5 ft from the pin. I sank the putt for a birdie. I was also 5 strokes down. That shot raddled the guy for the 17th and 18th, He triple boggied both holes.

My SOTW so far was yesterday. 18th hole. I had about 10 foot putt to tie one press and win another. Made it. Quite nervous.

Shot of the week today. 245 out on the 16th hole, a par-5 uphill. The ground is hard so I hit my new hybrid. I didn't see it but my partner who was watching said it hit once then hit the flagstick.

I had an eagle putt. Made a nice par....

Tuesday league last week I'm 164 out with a little wind. Told my partner I was going to punch a low 7iron at it. The ball one-hopped and hit the stick square. Unfortunately the ball bounced about 25 feet left of the flag. 2-putt par.
