Yesterday golf4birds and I were hitting balls. He took a swing at a driver, the club flew out of his hand, he screamed in pain and hit the ground face first.

He was shaking and couldn't get up for a while.

As it turns out, he blew out his knee and is going to have surgery tomorrow.

This really sucks as he is not only my buddy, but he was just coming back from neck surgery.

Send g4b your best.

Oh no. This is terrible news. Please keep us posted and tell him I am pulling for him! Recovering from both surgeries at the same time will be tough but Golf4birds can do it, if anyone can!

Good grief...best wishes with the surgery and the rehabilitation, remember to do what the physio tells you to do and come back strong for 2011 golf season.

Wishing golf4birds a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
"Golf's ultimate moral instruction directs us to to find within ourselves a pivotal center of enjoyment: relax into a rhythm that fits the hills and swales, and play the shot at hand - not the last one, or the next one, but the one at your feet, in the poison ivy, where you put it. "-John Updike

Talked to him today. Surgery went well. He blew out everything but his acl.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery golf4birds. Rehab is no fun but get your strength and motion going and you'll be back hitting that little white ball around the links. Any rehab questions, feel free to drop me a line as I work as a physical therapist. Again, speedy recovery
